The Osterfen Whippets UK kennel is in the very beautiful Vale of Belvoir which is on the Lincolnshire and Leicestershire border in the UK.

The first whippet to carry the newly acquired affix in 1978 was a silver fawn dog Osterfen Spider who was a grandson of Ch: Beseeka Knight Errant of Silkstone.

I had a lot of fun learning about the world of dog showing with my whippets and had some high moments; and some not so high.

Two years later a pretty silver brindle bitch Whinchat of Osterfen arrived but try as I might she would not enjoy showing, so she became my first brood bitch, she was mainly Dondelayo and Samarkands breeding and she produced Osterfen Snow White, who was having a super career when she was tragically killed when only 17 months old.

Whinchat was then mated to my new boy Hawk Moth of Osterfen and they produced Osterfen Turtle Dove at Triken, she was then mated to Selinko Nice Fella [who was litter brother to Ch: Selinko Another Lady] this mating produced Triken Harlequin, he was then put to Silkstone Heiress and this produced Triken Mischief of Osterfen She is the dam of

Ch. Osterfen Beacon Beige. and Ch. Osterfen Amber Nymph and the grand dam of Osterfen Marcasite JW.1RCC. and the new baby Osterfen Lilac Wine Also living with us is Ramillies Fire Storm Of Osterfen JW. 2 RCC. Osterfen Tears in Heaven is now enjoying a very successful showing career.
